Sugan Shegar

Sugan works at the intersection of oral and maxillofacial surgery, microsurgery, and surgical innovation. A faculty member at the Griffin Institute — one of the UK's most established microvascular training centres — he teaches advanced anastomotic techniques and conducts research into the future of microsurgical practice. A serial innovator in surgical technology and facial reconstruction, Sugan invented the Rheos Microperfusion System to bring an entirely new standard of realism to microvascular training, and founded Rheos Systems to take that vision global.
Abdul Ahmed
Founder & Chief Medical Officer
Mr. Ahmed is a Consultant in Oral & Maxillofacial and Head & Neck Surgery across multiple London NHS Trusts, with over a decade of consultant experience. A prolific author of textbooks on Maxillofacial Surgery, Microvascular Surgery, and Head & Neck Cancer, he is a national and international speaker who leads courses in microvascular and reconstructive surgery worldwide. Mr. Ahmed serves as Regional Specialty Advisor for the Royal College of Surgeons, Educational Supervisor for the London School of Surgery, and Ambassador for the Mouth Cancer Foundation. He brings unparalleled clinical authority and academic reach to Rheos Systems as a founding member.
